Autograph letter signed “Ségoffin” to a lady. Paris, June 28, 1911. 2 pages, in-8 format, on letterhead from 17 Rue La Rochefoucauld. Letter regarding a postponed appointment, in which the sculptor expresses his desire to meet with his correspondent. “Having received no reply to my telegram of the 23rd, I fear it may not have reached you. If this is the case, would you be so kind as to let me know with a brief note; if not, please have someone inform me of your decision.” He concludes his letter with a particularly courteous closing: “Please accept, dear Madam, my best wishes and my respectful and devoted regards.” Correspondence reflecting the sculptor’s personal and social relationships in the early 20th century.
