DEHÉRAIN (Henri) (1867 - 1941) Historian and geographer. Curator of the Bibliothèque de l'Institut, secretary of the Journal des Savants. Set of 2 autograph letters signed "H. Dehérain" to Mme Waldeck-Rousseau. Paris, December 15 and 23, 1922. 3 pages in-8 in total, on printed letterhead of the Bibliothèque de l'Institut national de France. Correspondence concerning a donation of manuscripts to the Bibliothèque de l'Institut. Dehérain conveys the institution's official thanks for : "the benevolent intentions you have in favor of enriching its collections". He mentions : the receipt of boxes of manuscripts the interest shown by Alexandre Millerand the entry of the documents into the collections the drafting of the official letter accompanying the donation administrative procedures (Central Administrative Commission) He encloses a draft letter to be sent to the Chairman of the said Commission.
