FATHER THIERS KLENCK, Paul. Father Thiers. Paris, published by Deforet and César, Rue N.-D. des Petits-Champs; Printed by Talons, Marché Saint-Honoré, [1871]. Colored satirical lithograph depicting Adolphe Thiers as a clothing merchant, holding a sign marked “Plebiscite—Death to the Republics,” in front of a wardrobe bearing the inscription “Cash Register.” Caption: “All’s well, all’s well…… (aside) for the Orléans!” Signed P. Klenck. Horizontal fold down the center, paper browned, some foxing and small marginal tears.
