Antoine Terrasse’s previously unpublished text focuses on Degas’s personal world, his family circle, and the models who appear in his work. The illustrations include, in particular, portraits and intimate scenes, accompanied by detailed captions, as well as facsimiles of his handwriting. Condition: generally good condition. Interior appears fresh and well-preserved based on the photographs. Dust jacket present, with soiling, yellowing, and signs of wear; minor scuffing and slight marks along the edges. Hardcover appears well-preserved.
