Paris, Gallimard, Bibliothèque de la Pléiade, No. 72, 1947. One in-12 volume, in the publisher’s softcover binding of full havana leather, spine decorated with gold fillets, green title label. First printing, completed on December 31, 1947, at the Imprimerie Sainte-Catherine in Bruges. The Pléiade’s specialized catalog confirms this first printing and a commercial release in April 1948. Binding is quite heavily scuffed; wear on the fore-edges and caps; no Rhodoid or slipcase.
