Numerous black-and-white glamour and nude photographs, stories, short stories, and light-hearted essays. A typical issue of the Parisian adult magazine scene of the immediate postwar period, combining nude photography, pin-ups, cabaret, light literature, and erotic imagery. The back cover clearly bears the notation “copyright Paris-Tabou No. 27 – 1951” and announces the next issue for December 20, 1951. Interesting period advertisements for other publications by the same publisher: *Sensations*, *Régal*, *Chi-Chis*, *Rose et Noir*, photo albums, and relief photographs. Condition: poor condition, heavily handled copy; cover is scuffed, stained, and torn; spine is very brittle with missing sections; stapling/binding is weak; several tears and marginal defects; paper is heavily yellowed. Nevertheless, an interesting copy as a document of 1950s erotic periodicals.
