Special issue of the famous Crapouillot, dedicated to a century of erotic photography, from the first photographic nudes of the 19th century to contemporary photography. Extensive black-and-white illustrations tracing the evolution of “naughty” and erotic photography: academic nudes, postcards, photographs of brothels, scenes of romance and libertinism, images from the 1900s and 1920s, up to photographic works from recent decades. Notably featuring photographs and documents by Nadar, Jean-Loup Sieff, and Philippe Ughetto, as well as images from the Bourboulon, Guillaumin, Hesselmann, Maury, Simon, and Tourdiman collections, among others. Of particular note is the reproduction of *Musette, Murger’s Friend*, a photograph attributed to Nadar (1858), as well as numerous vintage photographs featuring “sporty women,” travelers, and models of the Belle Époque. Issue edited by Jean-Claude Goudeau, with Yannick Bourdiseau as editor-in-chief. A good copy overall, with a slightly rubbed and marked cover, a few creases, and signs of wear; a small handwritten annotation “1985” on the first page.
