A rare catalog of the retrospective exhibition dedicated to Germaine Krull at the Cinémathèque française, at the Palais de Chaillot. The bibliographic references indicate that the exhibition opened on February 10, 1967—which, incidentally, matches the handwritten note “Feb. 1967” on your cover. The booklet opens with a text by Henri Langlois, which situates Germaine Krull within the Parisian photography scene of the late 1920s and highlights the importance of her work for subsequent generations. In particular, he discusses the influence of her photographs from the *Métal* series, which are among the iconic images of the *Nouvelle Vision* movement in photography.
