Limited edition of 2,970 numbered copies, plus 30 non-commercial copies, distributed as follows: 16 copies with an original watercolor and two sets of engravings; 100 with two sets of engravings; 400 with a black-and-white print; 2,454 numbered copies from 517 to 2,970, without a print. This is copy no. 2,492, and thus belongs to the standard run on Lourmarin vellum. Printed on November 10, 1962, by Imprimerie Déchaux in Paris. Beuville’s illustrations are particularly striking and lend this edition a truly decorative quality. The interior appears to be in good condition; the cover has a few small marks, scuffs, and minor wear. No slipcase.
