The BnF bibliography confirms the 1948 Paris edition and the book’s contents. The book approaches aerial photography not only as a representation of the landscape but also as a scientific tool for studying geography, landforms, human settlement, archaeology, and ethnography. The review published as early as 1949 in *L'Information géographique* specifically highlights this ambition and describes the book as “magnificently edited.” Condition: shows signs of use. Cardboard cover heavily soiled and scuffed, corners and caps worn, spine marked; interior, however, is in good condition.
