IMPORTANT CATALOG OF THE FIRST MAJOR RETROSPECTIVE DEDICATED TO MARGARET BOURKE-WHITE. Catalog published in conjunction with the exhibition held at the Andrew Dickson White Museum of Art at Cornell University from March 15 to April 23, 1972. The exhibition featured approximately 200 prints; the catalog is therefore an important historical document on the work of one of the leading figures in American photojournalism. Many of the images have become iconic: industrial architecture, dams and steel mills, the USSR, early issues of *Life*, the American economic crisis, and social reportage. Condition: generally good; transparent dust jacket preserved but with scuffs, scratches, and minor damage, particularly at the corners; interior clean.
