Second edition, printed on large-format paper and numbered: copy no. 668, as indicated by the print run justification. First volume of *Commentaires sur la guerre des Boches*, a collection of essays written by André Suarès during World War I. The institutional bibliography confirms the Paris edition published by Émile-Paul Frères in 1915, comprising 91 pages. The work notably consists of “The Meaning of This War,” “Signs of the ‘Koultour’” — featuring *Mirror of Words*, *Boches*, *The Colossus and the King* —, “Us and Them,” and “The Lament of Reims.” This second edition is particularly interesting here due to its presentation: large-format numbered paper, wide margins, and the original cover preserved.
