Edition published by the Society that owns the Works of Lamartine. This is obviously not the first edition of the Poetic Meditations, but a later, attractively produced Lemerre edition. Binding is scuffed; head and foot caps and raised bands are worn; there are small areas where leather is missing and scuffing on the corners; the interior appears clean.
