A compilation of the issues of *L'Illustration théâtrale* published in 1907, featuring the full texts of numerous plays performed on Parisian stages, lavishly illustrated with photographs of performances, portraits of authors and actors, and illustrations within the text. Notable works include: Paul Gavault and Robert Charvay, *Mlle Josette, ma femme*, a comedy in four acts, premiered at the Théâtre du Gymnase on November 15, 1906, starring, among others, Marthe Régnier; Gaston Leroux, *La Maison des Juges*, a three-act play, premiered at the Théâtre National de l’Odéon on January 26, 1907, featuring a photographic portrait of Gaston Leroux; Fernand Vandérem, *Les Fresnay*, a one-act comedy, premiered at the Comédie-Française on May 13, 1907; as well as various other plays from the contemporary theatrical repertoire. Each play retains its own presentation, with a title page, original cast list, and extensive visual documentation on the productions and their performers. An interesting documentary collection on Parisian theater during the Belle Époque, bringing together dramatic texts and photographic records of stage productions from the year 1907. The inclusion of *La Maison des Juges* by Gaston Leroux, author of *The Mystery of the Yellow Room* and the future *The Phantom of the Opera*, is one of the volume’s highlights. Some foxing, stains, and signs of wear, more pronounced on certain pages; paper uniformly yellowed. Nevertheless, the book is structurally sound and easily readable. Fair condition.
