An important catalog-manifesto published on the occasion of the exhibition “Manifesto in Homage to Meissonier,” held at the Hôtel Meurice, 228 rue de Rivoli, from November 1 to 30, 1967. Hardcover volume with a dust jacket illustrated after Dalí, fully decorated on the covers. Frontispiece photograph of Dalí and illustrations within the text. The colophon states that the original color lithographs, specially designed for this edition by Salvador Dalí, were printed at the E. & J. Desjobert workshops in Paris. Condition: cardboard binding is somewhat scuffed, with scratches and wear on the covers; caps and corners are marked; the interior is in much better condition.
