Small in-12, paperback, with a printed beige cover. Fifth edition, 86 pp. This 1904 Sansot edition is correctly listed as the fifth edition. The cover announces the *Selected Works of Maurice Barrès*, a twelve-volume collection published by Sansot in 1904. The publisher planned deluxe editions on Japanese, Chinese, and Dutch paper for each volume; however, this copy appears to be part of the standard edition. A beautiful autograph dedication signed by Maurice Barrès on the half-title page: “To Dr. … a token of my devotion. Maurice Barrès” Copy in its original binding. Cover and spine discolored; minor wear and creases on the headbands and corners; spine fragile with some cracking; interior well-preserved overall.
