Paris, Jean de Bonnot, 1976. 1 volume, in-8, approx. 270 pp., full brown leather by the publisher, covers embossed with a spectacular radiating geometric design, smooth spine richly decorated with mosaic-style geometric motifs in green, brown, and gold, author’s name and title gilded, gilt headband, red bookmark. A bibliophile edition printed on watermarked laid paper, illustrated with numerous compositions and engravings based on documents from Rimbaud’s era, printed here in shades of green. The 1976 Jean de Bonnot edition is well described, with approximately 270 pages and numerous off-text illustrations and headbands. A very fine copy. The binding is particularly decorative and features a lovely brown variant with green and gold decoration. Very slight signs of wear, particularly at the edges and on the covers, but nothing serious. The gilding and spine decoration are well preserved. The interior is in very fresh condition.
