Illustrated first edition, featuring a frontispiece and numerous woodcuts by Démétrios Galanis, with red typographic borders. Total print run of 860 copies: 10 on old Japanese paper, 50 on Holland Van Gelder, and 800 on tinted Lafuma paper. Copy no. 760, one of the 800 on tinted Lafuma paper. Condition: a fine copy in its original binding. The cover has faded to a pinkish hue, especially on the spine and along the edge of the back cover; minor wear on the headbands and corners. The interior is clean and fresh, with generous margins preserved. Galanis’s woodcuts are crisp and clear.
