NORWAY — Centennial of the Norwegian Postal Service, 1947 — 80 øre 1947. Commemorative stamp marking the 300th anniversary of the Norwegian Postal Service (1647–1947), face value 80 øre, brown. Design combining a historical scene from the postal service with a portrait of a contemporary postal worker in uniform. Caption “KONGENS HJEMKOMST 7. JUNI 1945” visible at the bottom. Used copy, perforated. Strong circular postmark; a few small marks and slight irregularities in the perforation.
