MONACO — Airmail — Airplane — 100 francs — Pair on fragment Two copies of the 100-franc airmail stamp, blue-green, depicting an airplane in flight, surrounded by the coat of arms of Monaco and an ornamental design. Inscriptions: “POSTE AÉRIENNE,” “MONACO,” and “100 F.” Design by H. Hugon, engraving by J. Piel. Two canceled stamps preserved together on a fragment of an envelope. The two stamps are arranged vertically; partial circular postmark. Perforation is generally satisfactory, with a few minor irregularities and signs of wear.
