MOROCCO — Sefrou 10 c. and coastal view 90 c. — Two stamps on a fragment French Protectorate. Envelope fragment bearing two canceled stamps: a purple 10-centime stamp depicting a view of Sefrou, and a blue 90-centime stamp depicting a fortified seascape with a cannon in the foreground. Bilingual French-Arabic inscriptions. The 90 c. stamp is signed C. Josso / Gandon. Both stamps are preserved on their original envelope fragment, with the postmark extending onto the backing and a linear mark reading “... COMPTE COURANT.” Condition: backing incomplete, folded, and torn; stamps show some perforation defects.
