FRANCE + YUGOSLAVIA — mixed postage - Lot 144
FRANCE + YUGOSLAVIA — mixed postage
A particularly interesting fragment bearing:
France, 2 F red “Paix” type;
Yugoslavia, 1 red dinar, Peter II.
Both stamps appear on the same fragment with cancellations that seem different. Caution is therefore advised: this is not necessarily a genuine mixed postage in the strict sense. But as a piece of international correspondence, it is clearly more interesting than the stamps taken separately.
There is a small tear in the paper above the 2 F.
Condition: fair to fairly good.
