This collectible hardcover volume features a iconic cover illustrated by André Franquin depicting Gaston Lagaffe and Spirou striding purposefully forward, leaving behind them drawings autographed and signed by the editorial staff’s great masters (Peyo with a Smurf, Morris with Joe Dalton, Franquin with the spring-loaded Marsupilami, Roba with Boule and Bill, Jidéhem with Starter, Will with Tif and Tondu, Macherot with Sibylline, Mitacq with La Patrouille des Castors). It brings together a complete series of consecutive issues of the magazine, featuring serialized stories, complete tales, and iconic gag strips from the golden age of Marcinelle.

Front cover: Very good overall condition, bright yellow background, vividly colored illustration by Franquin. There is a small mark and slight surface wear on the left side next to the number 92.
Spine & Endpapers: Original blue cloth spine in good condition; endpapers are even and clean.
Back Cover: Clean overall appearance on a textured red/pink background with the original publisher’s label printed in red—complete and perfectly legible—with slight normal wear on the edges and corners.
Interior: Complete volume, pages in good condition, and the binding is sound.
A superb vintage copy from the early 1960s, particularly sought after for its graphic tribute to the giants of Franco-Belgian comics!
