Spirou Album No. 84 - Dupuis Publisher's Binding - 1962 (Gray Cloth Spine - Gaston & Fantasio at the Door / Franquin)
A compilation album of Spirou magazine stories, publisher’s binding No. 84, published by Éditions Dupuis around 1962.
This collectible hardcover volume features a iconic cover illustrated by André Franquin depicting one of Gaston Lagaffe’s famous blunders in the editorial office hallways (Gaston opening a door held shut by a giant spring that slams into and knocks over Fantasio beneath the portrait of Spirou). It brings together a complete series of consecutive issues of the magazine featuring serialized stories, complete tales, and gag strips from the golden age of Marcinelle (Spirou and Fantasio, Gaston Lagaffe, Boule and Bill, The Smurfs, Lucky Luke, Johan and Pirlouit, Gil Jourdan, Marc Dacier, Jerry Spring, The Beaver Patrol, etc.).
