Spirou Album No. 83 - Dupuis Publisher's Binding - 1961 (Orange Cloth-bound Spine - Spirou & Fantasio / Franquin - The Shadow of Z)
A compilation album of Spirou magazine stories, publisher’s binding No. 83, published by Éditions Dupuis around 1961–1962.
This collectible hardcover volume features a famous cover illustrated by André Franquin inspired by the world of *L'Ombre du Z* (a “zombified” Fantasio in pajamas strapped to an interrogation table, under the anxious gaze of Palombian police officers and a colossal guard). It brings together a complete series of consecutive issues of the magazine, featuring full-length stories, serialized tales, and gag strips from the great classics of Marcinelle (Spirou and Fantasio, Gaston Lagaffe, Boule and Bill, The Smurfs, Lucky Luke, Johan and Pirlouit, Gil Jourdan, Marc Dacier, Jerry Spring, The Beaver Patrol, etc.).
