SPIROU - Journal Album, No. 74 Dupuis, 1960. Large quarto hardcover, red cloth spine, front cover illustrated in color. A very fine vintage collection of *Le Journal Spirou*, corresponding to issue 74, and a direct continuation of the major series of bound albums published by Dupuis. The cover, highly characteristic of the early 1960s, depicts Spirou facing off against Zorglub, who is seated in a futuristic capsule, in an iconic scene from the scientific universe developed by Franquin around Champignac and Zorglub. This illustration, credited to Franquin / Jidéhem, is among the most beloved covers of this period, particularly among collectors who are fond of episodes related to “Z” as in Zorglub. Issue 74 is well-recognized in the specialized market for vintage Dupuis collections.
