It depicts the Roman legionnaire Cornedurus (chosen by Centurion Galantine to spy on the Gaulish village while posing as a fake soothsayer), shown here hard at work sweeping. The figurine faithfully reproduces his stooped posture, dressed in his green legionary tunic, breeches, and laced sandals (caligae), firmly clutching his straw broom.
