Signed autograph letter Paris, February 26, 1917. 1 page, in-8 format. Letterhead of the Paris Court of Appeals Bar Association. Signed “Henri-Robert.” Addressed “To My Dear Friend.” A letter of an intellectual and commemorative nature: Henri-Robert discusses with interest the letters of the psychiatrist and medical historian Gilbert Ballet (1853–1916), who had recently passed away: “…the letters of the late Gilbert Ballet, so nobly combative… ” A letter reflecting an interplay between legal and intellectual circles, in a context of remembrance and tribute.
