Through a series of black-and-white photographs, the author offers a profoundly humanistic vision of the daily lives of suburban residents, in the tradition of French social photography inherited from Willy Ronis, Robert Doisneau, and Édouard Boubat, while developing a more personal and intimate photographic style. The book is enhanced by a reproduced original drawing by Alain Michel Boucher. A limited-circulation publication that has become rare, representative of French documentary photography of the 1980s. Condition: copy in fair condition. Hardcover with significant scuffing on the headband, spine, and corners, with small paper losses on the headband, scratches, and signs of handling on the covers.
