Through a chronological overview, the volume brings together his photoessays taken in France between 1965 and 1970: student and labor protests of May ’68, political life, society, culture, and the performing arts, as well as anonymous scenes of everyday life that reveal his profoundly humanistic perspective. Caron, who died prematurely in Cambodia in 1970, remains a major figure in contemporary photojournalism. Beautiful black-and-white photographs, accompanied by texts and documentary notes.
