An important French edition of the famous Dictionary of Music by Hugo Riemann, one of the most eminent German musicologists of the late 19th century. Translated from the fourth German edition and revised by Georges Humbert, professor of music history at the Geneva Conservatory, this work was one of the primary reference tools for musicians, musicologists, and music historians of its time.
