It brings together a wealth of images featuring Breton, Duchamp, Man Ray, Ernst, Miró, Tanguy, Magritte, Giacometti, and Chirico, accompanied by historical and critical notes. This document is representative of the dissemination of artistic culture in French education in the late 1960s; it is now sought after for the quality of its illustrations and the inclusion of reproductions—some of which are difficult to find—all gathered in a single collection. Complete copy despite some signs of wear.
