BODMER (Henri), Dürer Paris, Éditions Rombaldi, undated (mid-20th century). Large quarto, publisher’s binding with illustrated dust jacket. A fine monograph devoted to Albrecht Dürer, a major figure of the German Renaissance. The volume is illustrated with 138 heliogravure plates, including 10 in color, reproducing paintings, drawings, engravings, and studies by the Nuremberg master. A carefully produced volume from the Rombaldi collection, designed to make the great figures of art history accessible to the public. Illustrated dust jacket preserved. Overall in good condition. Dust jacket has a few tears and small missing pieces along the edges. Interior is clean and well-preserved.
