SIMOTOVA (Adriena) Adriena SIMOTOVA (1926–2014). A comprehensive catalog dedicated to one of the leading figures in Czech contemporary art of the second half of the 20th century. Close to the Prague Artists’ Group and deeply influenced by themes of memory, human presence, and the fragility of the body, Adriena Simotová developed a unique body of work combining drawing, crumpled paper, imprints, installations, and mixed media. The book reproduces a significant selection of works characteristic of her artistic maturity: paper reliefs, ghostly figures, faded faces, and silhouettes suspended between appearance and disappearance.
