POLLOCK (Jackson). (1912–1956) - Lot 224
POLLOCK (Jackson). (1912–1956) A rare catalog of the exhibition organized by the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam from June 6 to July 7, 1958—just two years after Jackson Pollock’s death. This historic publication, produced under the auspices of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, is one of the very first European catalogs devoted to the artist who would become the iconic figure of American Abstract Expressionism. Pollock catalogs from the 1950s are significantly more sought-after than the average modern art exhibition catalog.
