Silver oil and vinegar set with two compartments, decorated with an openwork belt featuring cut-out motifs punctuated by busts of women in corsets; the body is rostrum-shaped and decorated with vine leaves. Rests on claw feet. Empire period, circa 1810. Second cock hallmark, Paris, 1st standard. Includes two later-period glass cruets that have been added. Hallmark of master silversmith JPB, featuring the rearing lion of Jean-Pierre-Nicolas Bibron (indicted in 1798). H 30.5 cm Weight: 389 g
