Very interesting first-hand scientific account of the development of the varicella vaccine. In this autograph text, Professor Takahashi himself summarizes his discovery:

The card bears Michiaki Takahashi's full signature and handwritten professional contact details:

An original black-and-white passport photograph of the Japanese scientist is enclosed, along with a typed introduction in French recalling the historical importance of his work in the prevention of chickenpox.
Rare autograph document from a major player in twentieth-century medical research, whose work led to the vaccination of millions of children worldwide.
