PAUL-BONCOUR, Joseph - Lot 123
PAUL-BONCOUR, Joseph Joseph Paul-Boncour L.T.S. "J. Paul-Boncour" addressed to a public prosecutor. Paris, October 20, 1923. 1 page in-4 on letterhead of his law firm, 6 rue du Mont-Thabor. Elegant letter of congratulations addressed to a recently appointed magistrate. Paul-Boncour writes: "Your good friendship, as much as the esteem I have for you, makes me rejoice fully at the appointment of which you have just been the object..." and concludes with: "the assurance of my most sympathetic and devoted sentiments." A fine piece of professional paper from the former minister and future President of the Council, then a lawyer at the Paris Court of Appeal. A testimony to the relations between judicial and political circles under the Third Republic. Very good condition.
