GASTON LAGAFFE'S INVENTIONS (HACHETTE) - Lot 281
GASTON LAGAFFE'S INVENTIONS (HACHETTE)
N°33: La Sucette à stationnement (Agent Longtarin)
Inspired by the universe created by : André Franquin.
Collector's figurine in resin and plastic, from the official Hachette collection, featuring the famous, fussy police officer Joseph Longtarin, sworn enemy of motorists and especially Gaston. The statuette perfectly illustrates one of the series' most memorable traps: a classic parking meter (nicknamed "lollipop") disguised by Gaston as a genuine, gigantic, red-wrapped candy lollipop. Longtarin is shown in profile, looking suspicious and perplexed, dressed in his old dark blue contract uniform, kepi on his head and ticket book in hand. The statuette is presented on a black display base imitating a paving stone, adorned with a gold plaque engraved with the words "SUCETTE A STATIONNEMENT".
Characteristics and contents of the lot:
Status: mint in original sealed packaging (original plastic over-blister intact).
Components included: * Agent Longtarin figurine and trapped parking meter on engraved base.
Exclusive documentary booklet n°33 inserted in the back.
Condition:
Figure: mint condition. The model is ideally preserved in its original transparent thermoformed shell. The details of the parking meter, the lines of the police uniform and the bright red color of the fake candy are impeccable.
Packaging / Booklet: The set is kept fully sealed in its original protective bag. The large yellow cardboard backing is in very good condition, clean and flat, with no major creases.
A witty and indispensable piece to complete the gallery of iconic characters from the editorial office and its surroundings.
