BLAKE AND MORTIMER FANTASY CARS & VEHICLES (HACHETTE) N°38: The Nash Ambassador Based on the album: L'Affaire Francis Blake. Collector's model in metal and injection-molded plastic, from the official Hachette collection, reproducing the massive and typical green American Nash Ambassador sedan. This vehicle, with its curvaceous design characteristic of the immediate post-war period, is featured in the memorable spy book by Jean Van Hamme and Ted Benoit. The miniature is presented on its original black display base, inscribed with the album title. Characteristics and contents of the lot: Status: mint in its original sealed packaging (original plastic over-blister intact). Components included: * The green Nash Ambassador miniature on its base. Exclusive documentary booklet n°38 inserted in the back, including detailed character sheets (Eleni Philippidès and Jennings). Condition: Vehicle: mint condition. The model is impeccably protected and sealed in its original transparent thermoformed hard shell. The green paintwork, body moldings and front grille are immaculate. Packaging / Booklet: The whole set is preserved fully sealed in its original protective bag. The large, soft green cardboard backing is in generally good, clean condition. Some creasing and creasing on the lower corners of the soft plastic bag (visible in the photos in the area of the illustration of the young woman in the lower right) are typical of these newsstand issues, but have no effect on the booklet or the hardback blister pack. A superb model from across the Atlantic, bringing a touch of originality and vintage elegance to the collection.
