BLAKE AND MORTIMER FANTASY CARS & VEHICLES (HACHETTE) N°16: The Spheros Based on the album: The Enigma of Atlantis. Collector's model in injection-molded plastic and metal, from the official Hachette collection, reproducing the famous submersible or exploration sphere with transparent capsule, used by the scientists and soldiers of the Atlantean civilization in Edgar P. Jacobs' masterpiece. The miniature features a distinctive red stripe on its copper-gold hull. It is presented disassembled on its card, alongside its mounting arms and black circular display base bearing the inscription "The Enigma of Atlantis - The Spheros". Characteristics and contents of the lot: Status: Brand new in original sealed packaging (original plastic over-blister intact). Components included: * The Spheros miniature. Presentation accessories (gold/tan support arms). Dedicated black circular display stand. Exclusive documentary booklet n°16 including a detailed analysis of the work (The Enigma of Atlantis), a thematic dossier on the myth of Atlantis, and character sheets (Gui de la Roche and Prince Mitsu). Condition: Vehicle and accessories: mint condition. The transparent bubble, the metal structure and the fine fastening trains are impeccably preserved and protected inside the original thermoformed rigid shell, safe from dust and handling. Packaging / Booklet: The set is preserved fully sealed in its original protective bag. The large orange soft cardboard backing shows signs of curling and pronounced folds on the right-hand side and bottom (visible in the photos), which is very common on copies kept in soft bags, but the inner booklet and rigid central blister remain very well protected. A beautiful retro-futuristic scientific model, a must-have for any collection of Atlantis machines.
