BLAKE AND MORTIMER FANTASY CARS & VEHICLES (HACHETTE) N°40: The Chronoscape Based on the album: Le Piège diabolique. Collector's model in injection-molded plastic and metal, from the official Hachette collection, reproducing the famous time machine in the shape of a light-blue egg encircled in metal, imagined by Professor Miloch and used by Philip Mortimer. One of the most emblematic machines in Edgar P. Jacobs' universe. The miniature is presented here on its original brown display base (featuring the underground shelter's control panel), accompanied by its small receiving dish, black arm and circular black display base. Special feature: The protective bag features its original red and yellow sticker "Ask your newsagent for YOUR CLASSEUR today!" on the front, a period promotional detail that has been preserved intact. Characteristics and contents of the lot: Status: mint in original sealed packaging (original plastic over-blister intact). Components included: * The blue Chronoscaphe miniature on its brown console. Accessories (sky-blue antenna/parabola and black mounting arm). Black circular display base with title inscription. Exclusive documentary booklet n°40 inserted in the back. Condition : Vehicle and accessories: mint condition. All components are impeccably maintained and sealed inside the original transparent thermoformed hard shell. The sky-blue paintwork and fine brown strapping are perfect. Packaging / Booklet: The set is preserved fully sealed in its original protective bag. The large red and blue cardboard backing is very well preserved, remaining straight and clean, with no major creases or chips on the booklet. A major, poetic retro-futuristic model, a must-have for any collector of the saga.
