BLAKE AND MORTIMER FANTASY CARS & VEHICLES (HACHETTE) N°37: The Monorail Based on the album: The Enigma of Atlantis. Collector's model in injection-molded plastic and metal, from the official Hachette collection, reproducing the large red public transport wagon with squared glass roof from the Atlantean civilization, imagined by Edgar P. Jacobs. The miniature is presented disassembled in its rigid blister pack, accompanied by its portion of gray track, its yellow V-shaped support pillars and its large rectangular black display base bearing the inscription "L'Énigme de l'Atlantide - Le Monorail" ("The Enigma of Atlantis - The Monorail"). Lot specifications and contents: Status: mint in original sealed packaging (original plastic over-blister intact, never opened). Components included: * Red monorail wagon miniature with white trident symbol on front. Display monorail system (gray track and two yellow brackets). Large black display base. Exclusive documentary booklet n°37 inserted at the back of the set. Condition : Vehicle and accessories: mint condition. All parts are ideally fixed and protected inside the original thermoformed rigid shell. The red paintwork is bright, and the canopy structure and fine monorail components are in absolutely mint condition. Packaging / Booklet: The set is preserved fully sealed in its original protective bag. The large blue cardboard backing is very well preserved and straight, with no major creases or chips, perfectly highlighting Philip Mortimer's illustration in the lower right-hand corner. A very fine collector's copy. A superb retro-futuristic piece that pairs ideally with the Celeros model to recreate the transportation network of the city of Atlantis.
