SPIROU - Journal Album, n°77 Dupuis, 1960-1961. Large in-4 hardback, red cloth spine, first cover illustrated in color. A very fine early collection from Journal Spirou, corresponding to issue no. 77, in direct continuity with the great Franquin period. The particularly spectacular cover depicts a futuristic aerial scene: red flying vehicles in a blue sky, with the cockpit and emblematic characters of the series in the foreground. This illustration is fully in keeping with the scientific and visionary universe developed around Zorglub and Champignac. This issue is one of those appreciated for its "science-fiction" aesthetic, typical of the early 1960s.
