SPIROU - Journal album, n°74 Dupuis, 1960. Large in-4 hardback, red cloth spine, first cover illustrated in color. Very handsome early collection from Journal Spirou, corresponding to issue no. 74, in the direct continuity of the great series of Dupuis-bound albums. The cover, very characteristic of the turn of the 1960s, depicts Spirou facing Zorglub in a futuristic capsule, in a scene emblematic of the scientific universe developed by Franquin around Champignac and Zorglub. This illustration, by Franquin / Jidéhem, is one of the most popular covers from this period, especially for collectors of Z comme Zorglub episodes. Number 74 is well identified on the specialized market for Dupuis vintage collections.
