Very attractive Journal Spirou collection, corresponding to 144ᵉ album, published in this period when the layout of Dupuis collections found a fine balance between editorial efficiency and genuine graphic presence. The cover, dominated by an exotic adventure scene, is striking for its immediate legibility: the tension between the heroine in the foreground and the gigantic threat emerging from the vegetation lends the whole an evocative force far superior to that of a simple periodical collection. There's that typically Spirou blend of fantasy, movement and grand spectacle.
