Very handsome collection from Journal Spirou, corresponding to 106ᵉ Album du Journal, published in the great classic period of Dupuis hardback albums. The particularly attractive cover features a Smurf escaping from a monumental set of disproportionate proportions, in an atmosphere that is both mysterious and humorous. This composition, immediately evocative of Peyo's universe, adds a singular note to the sequel, while remaining perfectly anchored in the Dupuis aesthetic of the 1960s. This volume is part of a particularly sought-after period, with the great names of Franquin, Peyo, Morris, Roba and Tillieux coexisting in the contents.
