SPIROU - Journal album, n°103 Dupuis, 1966. Large in-4 hardback, blue cloth spine, first cover illustrated in color. Very handsome collection from Journal Spirou, corresponding to 103ᵉ Album du Journal, published in the great classic period of Dupuis hardback albums. The particularly successful cover features Spirou, Spip and the Marsupilami suspended from a stylized hot-air balloon, whose panels bear the names of several of the newspaper's iconic series - Lucky Luke, Jerry Spring, Boule et Bill, Tif et Tondu, Les Schtroumpfs. This composition, both poetic and advertising, elegantly sums up the richness of Dupuis' editorial universe in the mid-1960s. This volume is part of a series that has become highly attractive to collectors, covering the golden age of Franquin and the Marcinelle school.
