S.J. DUPEZARD SILVERSMITH - EMPIRE PERIOD Silver tableware set including: - Oil and vinegar cruets, with tubular sides decorated with flute-playing cherubs, borders featuring laurel friezes, and a band displaying palm leaves, small flowers, and heads of Dionysus above a dolphin. The body is shaped like a rostrum column, topped by a child dressed in ancient garb jumping rope. The base is engraved with a coat of arms featuring ermines and palm leaves surrounding a symbol of a flaming tower surmounted by a ducal crown. The base rests on four claw-shaped feet. Hallmarks: second rooster, Paris 1st title, medium guarantee mark, and master goldsmith’s mark. Two cut-glass cruets decorated with gadroons; one bears the Baccarat mark, with attached stoppers.
