STRELETSKI (Camille) - Lot 275
STRELETSKI (Camille) French psychiatrist and graphologist. General Secretary of the Société de Graphologie. Autograph letter signed "Camille Streletski". Paris, December 22, 1930. 1 page in-8. Writing paper. Brief letter of thanks in which Camille Streletski acknowledges receipt of a book devoted to Marcel Proust: "I have received your book on 'Proust' and thank you very much". He adds that he intends to read it "with interest and with great pleasure", a formula that reflects both epistolary courtesy and the attention paid to his correspondent's literary work. Although concise, this letter bears witness to the links between literary and graphological circles in the late 1920s, as well as to Streletski's interest in contemporary critical works.
